Attendance: Poor!!!!

Walsall-Swansea MOTM vote

Well the dust has settled and it is your chance to vote for your man of the match. You will all have your opinions but here is my views on saturdays team.

Star Player

Scott Dann got the sponsors man of the match award and for once I would not argue with them. Coped well against the expensive Swansea forward line.

Player Ratings

Clayton Ince

Not Claytons best game he will be disappointed about the deflection on the first goal which left him dead. He will be even more disappointed about the second, no goalkeeper likesd been beaten at the near post...but did it cross the line!!

Rhys Weston

Got plenty of sick from the Swansea fans, but that was to be expected for the Ex Cardiff player. Question will be asked about how the Swansea players had time to get there shots away for the first two goals. Otherwise solid

Paul Boertien

More I see him the more I like what I see, confident and covered well, in my books ran Scott close for MoTM.

Ian Roper

No question he had to go, once you make those tackles you have to get the ball. Struggled with the movement of the Swansea strikers, may struggle to get the shirt back.

Scott Dann

My Star man strong and competitive, he won't have many tougher days this season.

Paul Hall

Didn't show much on the wing early on although laid on the goal for Martin. When moved into the centre held the ball up much better than Ishmel

Darren Wrack

Owes Ian Roper a pint he's poor pass across his own back four straight to a Swansea player who was in on goal..that was a real killer, and left Roper with little option, otherwise struggle to make an impression on the game.

Danny Sonner

Struggle to compete with Darren Pratley, played well in helping break up play but showed little creativity.

Micheal Dobson

Like Danny Sonner, became more and more defensive was taken off to move Darren Wrack into the centre, in truth could have been Dobo or Sonner who made way.

Ishmel Demontagnac

His pace unsettled the Swansea back four, but couldn't hold up play when required, hence the ball was lost all too easily, but he will learn, didn't see enough of the ball out wide to make the same impression.

Martin Butler

Returning after his illness and didn't tirer as expected worked hard and of coursed scored his first goal in his firat apperance. Those who doubted Martin think again.

Eddy Sonko

Well, this boy can hit a football hard and had a stunning volley headed off the line, still not used to the rough and tumble of league one, when he does we will see the best of Mr Sunshine

Daniel Fox

Solid if unspetacular competition for places means he will have to show more going forward if he wants to win a starting spot.

Carlos Carneiro

We are all waiting for him to come good, we know he has the skill and should be able to unlock league one defense, but like Sonko has adjusted to english football, how long will we have to wait.
