Saddlers started with Martin Butler and trialist Hector Sam up front, Mark Wright wide right and a midfield engine room of old man Kinsella and new man boy Dobson.
Saddlers tried to make use of the flanksin the firs half. Unfortunately to many passes went astray,Kinsella was guilty of giving the ball away far too easily.
Shock Mark wright goal on 8 minutes when Wright got into the penalty area to finish Martin Butlers decent cross.
Halesowen played some decent football but the lack of a goalscorer and the difference in class meant debutant keeper Saul Deeney had an easy evening. It is interesting that what he did have to do he did well.
After the break Saddlers made wholesale changes, Constable partnered Sam up front and The Ishmel Demontagnac played wide left. Bradley and Pead played the central midfield role.
Shortly after the restart t Sam managed to turn his defender only to shoot against the bar. Also Constable and Ishmel were working well down the flank managed to open up the home sides defence.
On 59 minutes Constable chased a long ball over the top. Dean Coleman the ex saddler in the Halesowen team hessitated allowing Constable to nip in,James Constable took the invite t knock it over his head and tapped it into an empty net. 0-2
His second was in the 74 minutes . He took the ball on the volley from the edge of the area and let fly with a screamer that gave the home keeper no chance 0-3.
Five minutes later good work from Bedeau operating down the right flank laid the ball into Constable's path for an easy tap in to complete his hat trick.
Saddlers dominated the second half from start to finish with Constable, Demon and Kris Taylor at left back the stars of the show.
Midway through the second half Sam was replaced by another trialist Adam Proudlock, ex wolves, Sheff Wednesday and Ipswich striker.
