3pm Kick off
Talk of a Walsall promotion party is premature, this is a big game for both sides as County strive for the points to make there play off dreams a reallity. They also come into this game on form winning the last four without conceeding a goal. A public cry for support by the Nottingham club as they want the backing to 'scare us to death'.
For Walsall it's simple three points and the party can start no matter what. Other wise we are waiting upon news of MK Dons V Darlington, otherwise the party is delayed a bit longer. As for the championship, it is Hartlepools to lose rather than ours to win, so half an ear will be on Wycombe v Hartlepool.
DD is trying hard to keep peoples feet on the ground as is recent hero Dean Keates, both of whom point out nothing has been won yet and MK Dons are quiet capable of winning there last four games. DD has called for us to win our last four to put pressure on Hartlepool for the championship, I think this is more to ensure we cross the line sooner than later.
Notts County as a club and as individual players have been calling to the Nottingham public to come on down to create an indimidating atmosphere.
Todate no new injuries have been leaked out of Meadow lane, so I would expect the same side as in recent winning games.
The Magpies are a strong physical side but don't be fooled they can knock the ball around too. This is going to be a real test as both teams really do want the points.
A figure of fun in his early days, he has rediscovered a rich vein of form this season which means he will be a real danager. To read more about Jason Lee CLICK HERE
Kevin Cooper came through the reserve game so comes back into the fold. Alan Picken also completed 90 minutes and although observers thought he didn't quiet look ready DD may well be tempted to use him to combat the Jason Lee threat. Par Cederqvist is still struggling with his back, and of course Dann and Roper will be missing.
I expect a line up of Ince, Westwood, Gerrard,Fox, Picken or Smith in defence. Harper, Keates, Dobson, Cooper in midfield, with Butler and Benjamin up front.
The bench is harder to predict, Wrack and Sam, Wright and Pead with Bossu seems likely.
The game is going to be about what has got us into this position, team play organisation etc, not individuals. There is of course key battles all over the pitch to be won. The Jason Lee factor could be crucial.
So Fans and players united for the next step.
In truth our record at County is not poor its unbeliveable we have to go back before many of the Saddlers fans in the away end were born for a league win.
Both teams are on a strong run of form so who what's it most.

K A Friend, he is a bit card happy, I would say it is certain Jason Lee will see yellow. To find out more about Kevin Friend and his last Walsall game Click HERE
Despite the growing expectation and the party atmosphere starting to build, I can't see us winning, we might just get away with a draw. It is the question if JJ can then do us a favour against the Dons. If we do win we could go top since I half expect Wycombe v Hartlepool to end all square.
Next Saturday Bury at Home, followed by Wrexham at Home the following saturday. Will these be the new target games to gain the points for promotion if we fail at Notts or will they be championship chasing games only time will tell. For ticket info on these and other games CLICK HERE
