Hereford Utd vs. Walsall

Edgar Street

Can we Saddle the Bulls

Well it's back to league action against a team who have hit form just as we seem to be off colour. So a tough game could well turn into mission impossible, as a point would seem to be a good result.

Vital Quotes:

Martin Butler has spoken of his recent run without a goal which has lead to frustration since it is not that he is missing chances he just isn't getting any.
Richard Money says of the team that the goals will return and every team goes through a period like this.

Hereford Utd Team News:

Hereford will be hoping to get there influential midfield back for the game having missed the cup game against Shrewsbury. The main man in the middle will be John Eustace, who is on loan from Stoke City.
Up front Stuart Fleetwood has put in a number of performances which have got the scouts rushing to Hereford, his pace could well cause us a worry or two.

The former WBA trainee, will be looking forward to a game against the Saddlers. His striking looks have been a feature of the Hereford team since joining on loan. Then signing on the doted line in July 2004. He has made 98 starts for the bulls including 19 this year, in the process scoring two goals and getting three yellows not too bad for a defender.

Walsall Team News:

To change or not too change that is the question. One factor will be Craig Pead's appeal, if it is turned down it is hoped Chris Westwood is fit enough to return otherwise Mr Versitile, ie Darren Wrack may be called in. Otherwise it will be up to DD, however despite the calls from the terrace I would expect the team to be picked to ride out the storm.

Player to watch: Martin Butler

All we are saying is give us a goal, and I am sure that will happen if the team can give him a chance!!!

I would settle for a draw but we can't keep depending upon the defence to see us through I fear only our second league defeat of the season.

Next Fixtures:

Tuesday 21st November 7-45pm Macclesfield visit in a cup replay, it can't be as bad as Friday again can it.
