Walsall v Scunthorpe - Preview

Both sides go into this game with poor form.

Walsall will be without Flo Cuvelier and sweat on the fitness of Andy Taylor and Febian Brandy. Dean Smith must also decide on who to play on the wings following the out of sorts Jamie Paterson and Ashley Hemmings.

Without Flo Cuvelier our star man has to be George Bowerman who has scored 7 goals so far this term. Whether Deano plays Bowerman is yet to be seen with Will Grigg scoring on his last league outting.

Scunthorpe will be strenghtened with the return of on loan duo David Prutton and Leon Clarke. Steve Mildenhall is set for his debut after signing on loan from Millwall.

Leon Clarke has scored 7 goals so far this term for Scunthorpe and will give the Walsall defence a torrid evening. Quality player on his day.

Neither side has won in 8 games and both sides have played 39 games combined without a no score draw. In 20 games played at Walsall both sides have won 9 games each and drawn twice.

The last game at The Banks's Stadium was a 2-2 draw in September last year.

Tony Harrington from Cleveland is the man in the middle. He has refereed 9 games this season and only issued 8 yellow cards.

Whether its a shot that deflects off Grigg's backside or a worldy from Jamie Paterson, we just need a win. Fancy us to win this one, 2-0.
