Saddlers say thanks Villa
Sorry first of all sorry for been off line for a few days but here is the first on the catch up articles.
Walsall's youth team set up has received an unexpected 25k windfall from an unexpected source.....a Villa fan!!
Villa fan Chris White pockets some money himself as he won the a prize on the latest Coca cola footy competition. However as part of this he had 25k to donate to a championship or league one or two team, he couldn't give it to his own beloved Villa so quite rightly turning his back on the WBA and Wolves and everyone else he decided that Walsall's youth development set should have the money since of the close links between the clubs.............pity 25k won't repair the damage on the pitch caused by there reserves eh!!
In truth a wonderful gesture much appreciated and as Mick Hassell states 25k at that level goes a long way.
