'If It's Football, It's Vital'

In DD we believe

Despite the mircale of last season the poor start of the season and some older players been signed giving us a Dads Army tag lead many to question Dickie Dosh. Five games without a win and rock bottom of the division made the groans of dicontent to grow louder. Questions were raised about the fans who questioned the manager, there seemed to be the start of a rift between the manager and fans....not any more.

The run of form, the performance of the kids has well and truely reignited the Dickie Dosh barmy army. The reason why fans are now talking of him as a hero and perhaps he could end up as a Walsall legend, which would be a worthy lable if he did the impossible and lead us to back to back promotions, is simple his record.
DD's record as manager.

P 83 W 38 D 28 L 17.

66 games out of 83 where the pain of defeat has been avoided, many a fan up and down the country would be happy with that, Vale have lost 16 in the last 25 !!

The fact is with such a record and the scouts flocking to see the Banks's Babes, it won't be long before green envious eyes will be cast in the direction of our manager. Thats the way football works, one of the things that makes DD the manager he is is his drive and Ambition, he knows his next step will be the Championship lets hope it is with us.

So it is with that in mind a word of thanks to the Chairman Jeff Bonser who raised the a few eyebrows on the appointment of Richard Money, but also for getting DD to sign a three contract in the summer with a hefty compensation clause.....thanks

Dickie Dosh's Barmy Army
