Skipper out of Millwall clash

Tommy Mooney has been ruled out of saturdays cup clash with Millwall due to the hamstring injury he picked up on Boxing Day against Vale. However it is a safety first policy by manager Richard Money who hopes the striker will return for next tuesdays league clash with Yeovil.

This is bad news since Millwall will not just roll over and have hit a purple patch of form as well as having Jay Simpson in the team who missed the 3-0 Saddlers win.

The serious nature of this was shown in the 1-1 draw with Doncaster where we were also missing the cup tied ex ,illwall player Sweeney and we were lacking any creativity and the long ball up front was often uncontested without Mooneys workrate and experience. Of course centre half Anthony Gerrard ia also missing due to suspension.
