Walsall half time update

Well we go in at half time one nil up thanks in the main to Scott Danns second minute headed goal from Troy Deeney free kick (i think). However in truth the game is been played in poor conditions and the game has been fairly open but Oldham have created the better openings but failed to trouble Clayton Ince in the saddlers goal.

Neil Kilkenny has been at the centre of a lot of good Oldham play and has had no fewer than 11 corners to knock into the Saddlers box (compared to Walsall's 6)They have had 7 shots off target compared to our one.

For the Saddlers Peter Sweeney has looked impresive and on this form could attract interest from a Championship club whilst Richard Taundry looks equally at home at this level on the first half showing.

I hope we have just not scored our equaliser first!! We really need to achieve another clean sheet today.
