Walsall injury blow

We have suffered a major injury blow after Paul Boertien suffered a serious knee injury in training.

Boertien is ruled out with medial ligament damage to his left knee which was shown up by an initial scan. He will have a further scan next week. This type of injury can have various levels of seriousness but is likely to be out for a number of weeks.

It is a big blow for the player, who has been one of the Saddlers' best players this season since his arrival in the summer, as our recent poll showed.

So what are the options, youngster Netan Sansara has been outstanding in the reserves, whilst Daniel Fox may reclaim the spot despite shinning in midfield in recent games......or don't forget Ishmel has played there for the reserves!!!
