'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Walsall's manager says Sorry!!

'totally unacceptable' thats how DD described last nights performance or should I say lack of a performance.
He told press that...
'I defend the players when they deserve defending,' said the manager, after seing his team beaten by two goals conceded in the first seven minutes.

'But I told them in the dressing room that I'm not prepared to come in the press room and defend them after that.

'That performance was totally unacceptable and will not be accepted by this football club.'

'I can only apologise to every single Walsall supporter who came and watched the game and everybody back at home.

'They can rest assured that will not be allowed to happen again.

'We will do whatever we have to do to turn it round and not waste all the good work we have done in the last 12 months.

'There is no doubt we need strengthening - it's becoming clearer week by week.

'We have got some room in the budget to do that and it worked for us last year and hopefully will work for us again.'

so lets see what happens

Money hopes to have at least some of injured trio Tommy Mooney, Danny Sonner and Michael Dobson back for Saturday's home game with Port Vale
