ExWalsall star Miah is ALIVE

Last night the Birmingham mail quashed rumours that Miah Dennehy had passed away, although he is still in hospital in Cork following serious head injurys.

Former Republic of Ireland winger Miah Dennehy was attacked near the Fob and Gill pub in Mayfield, in his native Cork, on August 17.

Today Miah, a popular player at the old Fellows Park in the mid-70s, was described as 'critical but stable' in Cork University Hospital.

We all wish you well Miah
