'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Walsall's Anton Reid passes away

16 year old Anton Reid collapses and dies at the Aston University training ground this morning.
The club has said this has left everyone in shock, and true football fans everywhere will also be shocked at the death of a footballer so young. The Fans of Walsall were recently touched by the passing away of former favorite David 'mini' Preece at the age of 43, but this is no age at all. All we can do is pull together and pass on our sympathy and respects to his family and friends.
I for one can't believe this has happened especially so soon after Walsalls Matt Gadsby died on the pitch in similar circumsatnces last season whilst playing for Hinckley. A true sad empty feeling hangs around The Banks's stadium today.

My thoughts go out to Antons family and friends, I have lost 2 friends in very similar circumstances and it seems to be something very common in young footballers. RIP Anton.
