Republic of Ireland shot stopper Joe Murphy says it is nice to be back at the Walsall following his loan signing from Sunderland.
Murphy, who played in the 1-0 win over Doncaster said on the official site:
'I enjoyed the game. It was nice to come back and keep a clean sheet and pick up three points because it was a real battle. I thought that we defended well on the whole. We got caught out a few times on the break in the first half, but we put that right and knew that if a chance came our way we would take it. In the end we deserved the win.'
Adding he was only too happy to return to the Bescot.
'I jumped at the chance to come back here and play regularly. I enjoyed my time here last year; the lads are a great bunch and I have so much respect for what the Gaffer has done in the game. His man-management skills are good and he has a talented group of players here who are capable of achieving something.'
'Sunderland is a great club but I realise that my first-team opportunities are going to be limited up there, so it is nice to be able to come here and play. I have kept in touch with the goings on and results and am determined to help the club and show people what I can do.'
