Walsall squad numbers are released

Walsall have anounced their new list of squad numbers for the forthcoming campaign. Danny Sonner takes number 4, which has resulted in Gerrard taking the number 5 shirt.
Tommy Mooney has got the number 10 shirt, which has previously been worn by Paul Merson, Dean Keates, and more recently Hector Sam.
Paul Hall takes the number 11 jersey, while Rhys Weston has the customery right back number 2 shirt.
The biggest surprise is that Bertrand Bossu becomes the first Walsall player to wear the number 13 jersey, as the shirt number was avoided, as it was thought to bring bad luck. Let's hope not!!

Some of the first-year professionals are not on the list, but the club has said that they will be allocated a shirt number if they are required for first team duty.
