'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Worcester 0-0 Walsall

Walsall's first pre-season game ended in a 0-0 draw.
The game had very few chances, but there were moments of worry, as well as moments of near promise for the Saddlers.
Four of the five summer signings made their debuts, along with several trialists including a player called Junior.
The closest the Saddlers came was through Ishmel Demontagnac, when a long range free kick cannoned off the woodwork towards the end of the game.
DD will be hoping for more from his squad in our next pre-season game Stafford Rangers on Tuesday, July 24 (KO 7.45pm).

The Team:
Walsall (1st half): Bossu, Bradley, Fox, Sonner, Roper, Smith, Sonko, Wrack, Butler, Junior, McDermott.

Walsall (2nd half): Bossu, Taundry, Demontagnac, Dobson, Gerrard, Dann, Hall, Pedro, Deeney, Mooney, Nicholls.
