We asked 'season tickets got one if not why not?'
So what was the response,
Costs too much had 21% of the vote, and whilst our prices are not the highest and we have various early bird offers and payment plans etc, many fans just cannot afford to go to the Banks's. However when we had the lowest prices in the championship we still only managed 6 to 7,000 home fans so I think there is more to it than that.
Can't get to games due to transport had 3% of the vote. The good transport links to the ground providing the answer to most issues by the look of it.
lack of atmosphere 44% by far the biggest factor. Of course there is a number of differing reasons behind that. As we saw last season in the lower leagues the away following can be poor. In such cases the banter between fans is missing and this does spoil the end product. Again there is also the old chestnut of all seater grounds. However there is also the issue of the Floors to go stand, lovely to look at but it will never create the volume of the old stand purely due to its design.
Who do you think you are kidding Mr Money, as dads army arrive at The Banks's some fans have concerns about the team, but only 5% as we seem to be getting a blend of experience and youth, however most fans will agree there needs to be more quality before the deadline runs out.
can't get to enough games 9% of the vote ...fair enough, Whilst another reasons had 5% of the vote although noone came forward to explain.
got mine 13% well so have I
We will see if we can get a response from the club on these so watch this space.
