Weston training with Saddlers

Weston training with Saddlers

Walsall boss DD has admitted that former Welsh international full back Rhys Weston is training with the club.
Weston has trained all week with the first team squad, which has allowed the Saddlers manager to run the rule over the former Cardiff defender.
The Welshman spent half of the last campaign at Port Vale where he impressed Vale fans before suffering a dip in form towards the end of the season, which contributed to his release.
Weston now finds himself in the potential situation of being offered a deal by Walsall.
DD told the Express and Star: 'Rhys Weston has been here with us this week, he's been training.
'It has given us an opportunity to look at him.'
Expect a decision soon, and when there is one, we will bring it to you here on Vital Football.
