3 strikers into Walsall ????

3 strikers into Walsall ????

Well all Saddlers fans want to see some added fire power before the season starts to add to the work rate of Martin Butler and the promise of young strikers Alex Nicholls and Troy Denney. Well DD is hopeful that the advanced talks to three forward will bring results next week.

With the rumours of Darren Byfields arrival at Walsall been rumoured since the end of the last season, and various Millwall sites telling us we had 'no chance', well sources close to the player have staed on Millwalls Rivals and Vital sites that he will leave the New Den next week, will The Banks's stadium be his next port of call.

Another old chestnut is that Pesch will also be at Bank's next season, he has held talks with Walsall we are lead to belive. Of course Tommy Mooney has also been linked with a move in the press. However I also have been told Kevin Harper will make his mind up over the weekend and we are still in with a chance.

Others which are still bubbling under is Jammie Smith coming in at right back, and of course the Lee Frecklington saga. I can't see the budget stretching to both Byfield and Frecklington, unless some money comes into the club via the Matty Fryatt sell on clause..........interesting times ahead.
