Walsall target moves elsewhere

Walsall target moves elsewhere

As reported here some weeks ago Walsall as well as others had approached Dougie Freedman of Crystal Palace. The story was that Dougie was unhappy at been on the bench for most of last season (23 times) and making only 11 starts. His new contract offer was reported to be lower than Dougie and his agent had expected, hence he had stalled on acceptig the deal.

However despite the prospect of another season with limited first team chances Dougie Freedman has decided to accept an improved contact offer. No Dougie Freedman at the Banks's then.

Another player who had been mentioned on other forums as a target although no conformation was ever recieved from the club has also moved today. Pacey Delroy Facey has joined Gillingham as one of four signings announced today as they rebuild from the loss of Matt Jarvis and Danny Spiller
