'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Walsall Wednesdays

There has been no more transfer activity coming out of Bescot, as preseason kicks in. The lads are currently in preparation for next season, as is the DD regime to prepare earlier than necessary - but hey it worked last season…just. The fixtures will be announced tomorrow, and I`m thinking Leeds at home. It would be funny. Hopefully, there will be more transfers coming into WS1, with another former Walsall player in Darren Byfield looking to make a return. It would be a good signing, as he got us out of the division last time we were promoted and he has a good goal scoring record at this level. We shall see, I will certainly be watching every space possible!

Finally, a quick word on former England captain David Beckham. He has been outstanding since his return to international football and long may it continue. Walsall need to use his desire, even with an ankle injury, to inspire themselves for next season.
