Lester linked with Saddlers

Walsall have again been linked with more strikers today, this time Jack Lester.
The 31-year-old former Grimsby man has just been released by Colin Calderwood at Nottingham Forest and DD has been said to be interested.
Other players to be linked are Boston striker Francis Green and former Wolves defender Jamie Smith.
Green, 27, has revealed to the press he is set to hold talks with ourselves and Macclesfield, favouring Walsall, as he said it would be a 'good career move.'
Smith, a 32-year-old full back released from MK Dons recently, has had plenty of experience in the promotion circles, including reaching the former Division One Play-Offs with Crystal Palace.
If Walsall signed all of the above players, it would be a major coup, depsite the ageing legs.
