Update on Walsall's Demon

Chairman Jeff Bonser has been speaking about Ishmel Demontagnac, he told the press..

Ishmel is out of contract and has been offered terms,' Bonser said. 'I know he has been offered terms by a few clubs and he may decide his future is elsewhere. But I think Richard Money is 100 per cent what Ishmel needs.

'We all know what Ishmel can do. He has got a lot of talent but just one or two sides of his temperament to sort out.

'Richard has put a lot of time and effort into working him and, without jumping the gun, I have noticed a distinct improvement in Ishmel in the last three months.'

So despite the ££££ which will be so important to his agent Ishmel needs to decide what is best for his career. Unfortunately I do get the feeling that Ishmel is easily led, and hence the motives of his agent will come into play. If he makes the wrong move it could signal the virtual end of his career, whilst the right move could see him rise to greater heights.

So will staying at Walsall be the right move. Well in general terms the fans are behind the young winger so there will be no need to win over a new set of fans. The new manager DD, has a wealth of experience in developing young players, this was one of the reasons he got the job...so that must be a positive. Both parties know exactly what each other will bring to the party, so that leaves one question Will Ishy play enough games to keep him happy........only DD knows the answer to that one.

My vote is for Ishy to stay please Ishy.

Ishy could play a big part this season, but we will have to accept some good days and bad days
