Walsall release six

Walsall release six

So it's thank's and so long to six of the team that helped take us up.

The six been, Par Cederqvist, Geordie Lyall, Craig Pead, Hector Sam, Mark Wright, Kris Taylor.

Both Par and Geordie have not really contributed since there January moves to Walsall and the release is no real suprise. Kris Taylor was again no real shock as he struggled to make a midfield or full back role his own but will definately do a good job for someone. The determination to make in roads to league one is shown by the departures of Hector Sam, Mark Wright and Craig Pead. Craig included in the PFA team of the year was a weakness at right back, whilst Mark Wright has flattered to deceive and will benefit from a new challenge. Hector has played his part but with the need for a regular goalscorer some one had to make way!!

Talking of making way, Tony Bedeau has been placed on the transfer list, signaling a very unproductive spell at Walsall.

With the departure of Keates and Westwood, it looks like some interesting times at the Banks's stadium.
