Saddlers linked with Auzzie defender
Walsall have been linked with a move for former surfer Dean Heffernan.
The 26-year-old attacking left back, who has spent this season on loan at Bundesliga side FC Nuremburg, had scored 8 goals in 23 games for A-League side Central Coast Mariners in the 2005/06 season, which earnt him a place in FourFourTwo's A-League dream team.
DD is said to be interested in the former model and he seems to be in the same mold of Zigor Aranalde and Gino Padula.
He is available on a free transfer.
