Walsall speak about Andrew Whing

In an interview with Sky sports DD is quoted as saying that the club have made no contact with Andrew Whing about comming to the Bescot sorry Banks's stadium. Although he didn't go as far as to say he wasn't interested in the player.

He did however say that there will be no moves happening until we are sure what is happening with our out of contract players and we are fully aware of what players are available. He had previously said that Paul Taylor and the staff at Walsall had been working hard since our promotion was confirmed some three weeks ago.

DD'S Comment's
'We're not in the market for anyone until we have sorted out all of the new contracts for my existing players,' he confirmed to skysports.com.

'Of course there are players that we will be looking to bring to the club over the summer, but no contact has been made, and we'll only know what we need when we see who is definitely around next season.

'My players have performed admirably this season and it is out of fairness to them that we sort out our current squad before looking for any new additions.'

So news with nothing new really so watch this space.
