Jorge Watch-fond farewell

Jorge Watch-fond farewell

Recent results have seen Jorges side Feirense fall to fifth place and ten points adrift of the promotion places. So it would seem Jorge will not be returning to the top flight of Portuguals league football next season. In fact this time around his adventure only lasted half a season. Goals have also become hard to come by in his second spell at Feirense although his now ageing legs still carry around the pitch in his now trade mark all action style.
Recent Results
18-Mar-2007 Liga de Honra (22) Feirense 1-2 Trofense
01-Apr-2007 Liga de Honra (23) Rio Ave 2-1 Feirense
07-Apr-2007 Liga de Honra (24) Feirense 0-0 Vitória Guimarães
15-Apr-2007 Liga de Honra (25) Gondomar 1-0 Feirense
22-Apr-2007 Liga de Honra (26) Feirense 3-0 Olhanense

FIXTURES
29-Apr-2007 Liga de Honra (27) Vizela - Feirense
06-May-2007 Liga de Honra (28) Feirense - Varzim
13-May-2007 Liga de Honra (29) Penafiel - Feirense
20-May-2007 Liga de Honra (30) Feirense - Olivais e Moscavide

Perhaps the only thing to look forward to is his old club Beira Mar sit bottom of the Supra Liga fighting for there hard earned top flight spot. It looks possible Feirense V Beira Mar will be on the fixture list next season.

So with interest in our Ex striker on the decline this will be our last Jorge Watch ......unless we hear Jorge is comming back !!!!
