Walsall's ref watch

Well the nominated official is Mr Kettle, so lets get all the jokes out of the way, will he be off the boil, at least we will hear the whistle, will he brew up for half time etc etc, well for a party occassion it is nice to see that the league has given us a ref with comedy value. Mind you any ref from Berkshire is bound to be in for a hard time.

However Mr Kettle isn't the most popular ref with fans up and down the country, and has a reputation for liking to be the centre of attention, god forbid the thought that we are going to Bescot to watch a football match, Mr Kettle is on show!!! In fact rumour has it he actually worn a pair of white boots for one match but he got into trouble for that.

This season old Trev has been in charge of 36 giving out a massive 124 yellow cards with another 8 reds, last season he managed 142 yellows and 12 reds so he needs a few more to match last seasons performance.

Our last meeting with Trev was in October last season when we went down 3-1 at Huddersfield, when Demontagnac ,Kinsella ,Leitao ,McDermott all saw yellow along with 3 Huddersfield players. So Mr Friend bucked the trend with a friendly performance last week lets see what happens on saturday.

Oh lets not forget we have also got Mr Newell's favorite lineswoman, lets see if Amy can keep up with play.
