Walsall ran out 2-0 winners over local rivals Shrewsbury town. The goals were scored by Troy Deeney who had another impressive match. Also Ishmel who scored from a penalty after Par Cederqvist was fouled despite managing to get his shot away and hit the post.

Suprise move was playing Tony Bedeau at right back, he didn't do anything wrong to be honest but he didn't set the world alight either.

All in all a good end of season work out, and it is always nice to beat The Shrews
