Walsall's celebrations

The local council will be asking Walsall to come to the town hall for a civic reception, also one councillor is hoping to arrange an open top bus tour.

Details have not been confirmed as yet but both the council and the club have got there heads together to work out the fine details.

As for the team they have had there day off and had a few drinks to celebrate but it is now back to bussiness. The club are hoping for a big crowd to party against Bury on saturday. However with Bury still in need of three points to stave off relelgation things won't be that easy on the pitch as we look to put pressure on Hartlepool as they go for the championship.

Of course the last home game of the season is always a time for celebration, but our opponents Wrexham may not be in the mood since they are in danager of leaving the league in the other direction, especially if we steal the points.

No matter what happens we of course will have a bit of a fancy dress day out at Swindon on the last day
