Walsall's new centre half

Walsall's new centre half

No it's not Mick Kearns pulling his boots on. It is something that some saddlers had already thought of but never thought that DD would disrupt his midfield.

Micheal Dobson is possibly set to be come captain Marvel. DD in an interview yesterday has stated that Dobbo is a possibility for defensive duties. Of course he spent some time there at Brentford and has also spent two years as a right back.

So although we can move Westwood into the centre of defence, and have Alan Picken returning to fitness waiting in the wings we now have plan c.

Plan C does have some interesting possibilities in that it would allow Keates to hold in midfield and let either Pead or Wrack to come in and do a more attacking role. It also means that it would not neccessary to have another centre half on the bench so that the bench especially at home can be more attack minded, as we strive for the points to see us up.

Mind you DD has also said that Kris Taylor has played centre half before....er is it just me, but thanks but no thanks to that one.
