Richard has spoken on the Mk Dons game, 'A point was the least we deserved,' Money said.
'It was a clear penalty when Butler was fouled in the box early on, and the two disallowed goals were onside. But we showed great character after going behind to come back and get a draw.
'We've always had a good resilience about us. There was never a point where we didn't think it was going to be our afternoon. We got stronger and stronger after going behind.
'What could have gone wrong did go wrong but we've ended up with a point and we might have even nicked it at the end.'
But lets remember,
Last May some Saddlers feared that we might be facing a relegation struggle this season.
Pre season a lot of Saddlers were predicting a top ten finish or perhaps play offs. So with 21 points left to play for, thanks to our goal difference we have already achieved a top ten finish. In reality due to teams playing against each other we know we will contest the play off's at the very least.
So lets remember this team is unbeaten in 33 of our 39 league games this season.
After a run of poor results,(playing resurgent Rochdale,Hartlepool Lincoln and Stockport on the bounce was never going to be easy), we are now unbeaten in five including tough away games at Darlington, Wycombe, and MK Dons. In this mini run we have returned to the habbit of keeping clean sheets.
So with 21 points to play for, of the last seven games four are at home. All four of these are against teams in the bottom eight. We have to play rock bottom Torquay away, and Notts County who are already rebuilding for next season. So our destiny is in our own hands before we go to Swindon on the last day.
The squad is virtually intacked with only Roper certain to miss the run in. Picken is touch and go but he has been missing since August. Dann picked up a knock on sunday. We have competition for places all over the pitch, we have options to cover most injury eventualities.
Reason to be cheerful....I should think so.
Reason's to be happy with how the season has gone to date......too damn right
