'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Walsall's Poll result

So the great saddlers population has spoken and this is what you think

How many points will be need to gain automatic promotion
70 to 74 points 3%
75 to79 points 8%
80 to 84 points 20%
85 to 89 points 37%
I don't know 16%
I don't care we are going for the championship 16%

I don't know who thought 70 to 74 points would be enough to gain promotion two more wins would make me feel like we could do it,but lets face it someone was having a laugh.

85 to 89 points is the favorite total and I think any team getting 89 points would be pig sick if they didn't get up.

So with twelve games left and us sitting on 67 points we need another 22 points to reach 89.

Home games against Chester, Accrington, Hereford, Bury and Wrexham could just give us 15 points, but we learnt last season you can't just rely on your home form.
So the extra 7 points from Darlington,Wycombe,MK Dons, Torquay, Notts County and Swindon is a harder task, especially if a slip up at ome means we need to find more points.

This begs the question 'Do you think we can reach 89 points' well see our new poll to cast your vote.

Home form is vital, if we can return to our hard to beat style we will pick up the points needed.
