Walsall Res V WBA res

In front of a small crowd including DD and Mark Kinsella Walsall went down 2-1 to Craig Shakesphere's WBA side. In truth there is little to write home about. Alan Picken was not included in the squad raising the question of his possible inclusion in the 16 on saturday. Geordie Lyall scored and did his first team chances no harm, whilst Kris Taylor also did well but failed to join with the attack to any real benefit.
In the troublesome midfield area Darren Wrack looked off the pace somewhat, whilst Mark Bradley continues to improve.
Up front Alex Nicholls showed plenty of pace but his positioning and instinct is still short of first team standard in my opinion. Ishmel struggled to come to terms with the central role although couldn't be faulted for effort.

Ronnie Wallmark played 90 minutes for WBA, now if he was fit he could pull our midfield together
