WBA Submit £16m Bid For Former Saddler Deeney
The Telegraphs John Percy is reporting that WBA have tonight bid £16m for former Walsall striker Troy Deeney.
It was reported earlier this month that Watford were looking for £20m for the striker so you would assume Watford will reject the Baggies first bid.
Rumours in The Sun are suggesting that West Ham could also enter the frame if Daniel Sturridge opted to move to Inter Milan instead.
Should West Ham enter the frame then it could trigger a bidding war between both Premiership clubs.
The Saddlers are set to receive 20% of any transfer fee.
