'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Walsall's Poll result

Which Walsall reject would you welcome back?
Karl Hawley (Carlisle United) 21%
Gavin Caines (Cheltenham Town) 7%
Andy Bishop (Bury) 7%
Ben Davies (Shrewsbury) 9%
Darren Byfield (Millwall) 42%
Clive Platt (MK Dons) 14%

So by far it is the strikers we miss. One time boo boy Darren Byfield who left in strange circumstances for Rotherham to eventually form a partnership with Martin Butler, is the guy saddlers want to see back most. Although he still has strong links with the area he has reportedly turned us down twice.

With age on his side Karl Hawley released when he couldn't break into the starting line up when we were a championship side is also favoured. However he is continuing to bang in the goals. A 500k move to Leciester didn't happen but he is now out of our price range.

The others really just made up the numbers with few regrets. So on the day we let James Constable go lets hope he doesn't come back to haunt us.
