League One 2017/18 Preview | Bradford City

League One 2017/18 Preview | Bradford City

Bradford City suffered play-off heartbreak for the second consecutive season as they lost to Millwall in the final. They did however go one step further this season after falling at the semi-final stage last season. Stuart McCall managed to successfully transform the Bantams' playing style into a more fluid passing game after the more direct approach employed under former boss, Phil Parkinson.

Saddlers fans used to dread a fixture against Parkinson's Bradford, and in particular watching Paul Downing trying to defend James Hanson...

Anyway, Bradford could well make it third time lucky and despite the loss of James Meredith - and to a lesser extent Billy Clarke and Rory McArdle - I'm tipping the Bantams for an unlikely automatic promotion spot.
