'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Walsalls watching tonight

Whilst is ever won in January and also nothing is ever decided in one game, most Walsall fans will be hoping for a draw in tonights game.

Second place MK Dons will be looking for a double over third placed Lincoln after a 3-2 win at Sincil Bank earlier in the season.A win would move MK Dons within two points of the Saddlers. So with Walsall not playing until monday night it would give them a chance to take top spot. Although they face a tough looking away game at Hartlepool.

A Lincoln win, would see them leap frog the Dons into second spot, meaning that a home win against Shrewsbury would put them joint top with Walsall on 56points. However unless Lincoln could inprove on there goal difference by 8 goals in the two games we would keep top spot on goal difference.

A draw however would see MK Dons still four points behind us, whilst Lincoln would be five points behind. So even if they both won on saturday we would still have a one point and two point advantage, with two games in hand. The first of which we play in front of the sky cameras on monday night, Grimsby Town.
