Torquay star linked to Walsall

Walsall have been linked with a move for Torquay star Jamie Ward.

The 21-year-old has caused a lot of attention with eight goals in first season at Plainmoor.

Other clubs have shown interest, mainly MK Dons and Swindon, in the popular ex Aston Villa winger.

Saw him a number of times when on loan up here at Stockport. Great little player. Will do you proud if he joins you. Personally I would love to see him up at Edgeley Park, even though he did snub us to go to Torquay (the mad boy)
