'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Half term report Swindon Town

Swindon Town
The bookies favorites started the season off like a house on fire and it the question seemed to be not if they would go up but if anyone could keep in touch with them. Then the wheels didn`t so much come off but they suffered a couple of punctures. They had the best keeper in the league until he broke his arm. Then they lost high profile managers Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet. However they have quality and are a formidable team at this level. In new manager Paul Sturrock they appointed the best man available, and a manager who knows what it takes to get out of this league.
In Roberts and Peacock they have two strikers who are capable of getting the goals to send them up, they have experience at the back to ensure one or two goals will be enough.
I think that Wise and Poyet may well be back at the County ground.........when Leeds visit next season
No championship but promotion is on the cards.
