Half term reports-Rochdale

Rochdale

I fear for Rochdale, Steve Parkin gone Rickie Lambert gone, Money never there in the first place. What they did have has been spent on the wrong things leaving the team bankrupt on the pitch.
With the last two games of the season verses Peterborough and Hartlepool they will need to go into the final stages of the season in a position of safety. I am not sure that will be the case. If money can`t be found, begged or created then they will have to battle it out and create a siege mentality which will see them through. Perhaps the folk of Rochdale need to start going through the turnstiles in numbers, ask the mayor of Accrington what it was like after they lost there league status for 50 years!
If that fails the folk of Rochdale need to pray that another team fails to live upto there potential either Accrington or Boston perhaps.Hope of course been given with the 4-0 win over Boston, but that has as much to do with the threatened players strike prior to the game by Boston than any sudden brilliance by Dale.
Tough to say with any certainty but conference for Dale next year.
