'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Half term report Peterborough

Peterborough United
It is going to be an interesting second half of the season for Posh fans, it is going to be a roller coaster ride. However with Barry Fry at the club you wouldn`t expect anything else. The biggest factor is the new owner, he talks the talk and has stumped up the cash to bring some top conference players to the club on loan with a view permanent deals. Will the January transfer window bring in the players necessary to build on there play position. Will new signings disrupt the wage structure and squad morale. Will the dream become reality or a nightmare. I don`t know do you.
In truth the top six seem to be capable of holding on to the top positions so it is up to Peterborough to join them. It could well be a catch up position as well since they sit in 7th position on 38 points, 8th place teams are on 34points. In the next two games they travel to 6th place Hartlepool who have won seven straight games and are on 41 points, then they are at home to the Saddlers who are a massive 14 points clear. Peterborough`s current form 3 straight defeats.
I feel that Posh may sneak that final spot although I can`t see them winning the play offs.
