'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Half term report Hereford Utd

Hereford United
I predicted at the beginning of the season the following
"Prediction Perhaps the hardest to predict with many expecting a season of struggle, however I feel owner/manager will have them comfortable, they have the winning mentality losing only 6 last season, may well flirt with the play offs falling short with a mid table finish."
So at the moment I feel pretty smug. Many fans at Edgar street feel that with the right faces brought in a push for the play offs is possible. As they sit in tenth position on 33 points, behind seventh placed Peterborough who are on 38 points. In truth it is hard to see past the top six at the moment so unless someone "blows up big style" there is one play off spot up for grabs. Could Hereford be that shock team, possible but I think a top ten finish is more than possible. The difference between tenth and seven is small but this season the difference may well be down to what happens in January and how well a team performs with new faces, consistency will be the key. It may well be that lack of consistency that lets them down.
