'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coventry City 0 Walsall 2

Par Cederqvist scored one and made another for Manny Smith as he continued his introduction to English football. Two Trialists were also given a run out, Tommy Taylor and ex villian Colin Marshall, some older heads played such as Ropes played and Ishmel Demontagnac was given a chance to claim a shirt for saturday. Whilst others continue there return from injury.

One player still returning from a broken leg is Alex Nicholls who was stretched from the ground, with many fearing another break. However reports are now suggesting that only bad bruising. However this is set back which means his fight for match fitness and sharpness will be on hold over the Xmas break.

I don't know, but the Coventry team was a mixture of first team reserves and first team fringe. Neither side put anyone "important" at risk. So I wouldn't read too much into te actual result.
