'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Beginning of the end?

Well, Saturday was a bit of a disaster. Ok, that was an understatement. But, at the end of the day, there is still a healthy seven point gap and a trip to Wales to look forward to. So, all in all, it could be worse, or at least it can get worse. The question is, is this the beginning of the end?

Nah! Course not. If we blow it now, I will be amazed. But we are Walsall, we can do the impossible, for example: come back to beat Reading in the Play Off final in 2001, and then we finished bottom last year, after being mid-table last Christmas. Surprises can happen then, but I seriously doubt it in this case.

Anyway, to replace Mark Kinsella, I would like Ned, but we will never get our ideal choice. Ned is popular with the fans, but if Frank Barlow wanted to return then I would be happy. But we need to get in another midfielder, perhaps a more creative one, but certainly a central minded player.

Finally, I predict a win for Saturday. Sorry Wrexham, but we are in need of the points and you got trashed at Boston.
