Walsall's Poll result

Walsall's Poll result

Before the Notts County game this weeks poll was showing that Saddlers fans were very much unsure on what to expect from the new striker, 50% of voters were waiting to see what happens.

Well what a difference a debut goal makes, not to mention a solid performance. Talk was about Tommy been just the striker we needed to play alongside Butler and that he brought the best out of Martin, and how nice it was for Walsall to finally have a striker that got into the opposition defence and even wound there fans up. One fan even called him Walsall's Keigan Parker....surely not.

At the end of this 55% had decided that Tommy was the man, I feel this figure would have been higher if 50% hadn't already voted to wait and see.

Some 20% of fans said no, but again the majority voted before saturdays game, perhaps looking at he's recent performances at Barnsley.
