Walsall's injury update

Walsall's injury update

Alan Picken is due to have an opperation on the knee which has troubled him since his move from A-League team Newcastle jets. Anyone who was at Rochdale and saw him make his debut will understand the frustration the player and club as well as fans have had with his lay off. Since that performance ear marked him as the possible signing of the season.

The opperation is only to identify what the problem is, any minor corrective issues maybe carried out, but how long the layoff will be depends on what is found.

Meanwhile it has been confirmed that Darren Wracks recent come back from a broken leg has been put on hold for approx three weeks with a hamstring injury.
