Loan transfer window

Last night we gave some of the fringe players a chance, we were robbed of three centre half and established right back plus cover, any team would struggle to cope with that but in general we did.

However poll after poll and match after match has highlighted the need of a midfield creative option and another striker. Attempted transfer activity prior to the deadline shows DD wants a striker. However if we are to use our loan options we have until close of bussiness on Thursday. After that the window closes to re open in January.

So what are our options, well the chances of bringing in some one who is available and better than what we have got is slim. Clubs don't like to loan out experienced players over the hectic christmas period. So that leaves the option of getting in young players seeking to gain experience. The question then is are they better than ours. They may have the potential but they have not proved it. If there is a question mark will a bigger club want a young play to go on loan and sit on the bench? If they are unproven and you put them into the first eleven what will that do for the morale of the dropped player and remaining players hoping for a chance.

Hopefully you can see that just because we need a couple of players doesn't mean it is easy to find the right players. Last nights performance may just of add some more urgency to the process, if any was needed.
