Jorges Big game

Portugal's top flight, there most famous team fresh from a three nil win over Celtic in the champions league, a packed Stadium of light (not the one in Sunderland). That is what awaited Jorge when he walked out to play for Beira-mar v Benfica at the weekend.

However things didn't go too well Beira mar as they fell into the relelgation places thanks to three second half goals. In truth it was very much back to the walls stuff from the visitors. There cause wasn't helped by the sending off of top scorer Buba for his second yellow card (74 min), however the damaged had already been done by then as they were trailing 2-0, Benfica added a third via the penalty spot on the 79 minute.

The ref it must be said had a field day issuing a number of yellow cards as Beira mar struggled to live with there famous opponents.

Yellow card Torrão (17), Buba (34 e 74), Marco (57), Nuno Gomes (63) e André Leão (70). Red card for Buba (74 second yellow).

Benfica - Quim, Nélson, Luisão, Ricardo Rocha, Miguelito, Petit (Karagounis 58), Katsouranis (Karyaka 78), Nuno Assis, Micoli, Nuno Gomes e Simão (Mantorras 84).

SC Beira-Mar - Alê, Ricardo, Marco, Buba, Tininho, André Leão, Torrão (Emerson 56), Ratinho (Jardel 71), Rui Lima, Camora (Wegno 56) e Jorge Leitão.

HT: 0-0. Goalscorers: Kastouranis (52), Petit (55) e Ricardo (76 pen).
