The Butler Did It!


Former Walsall skipper and Walsall legend Andy Butler caused a stir at the weekend after deciding to attend our home game with Bradford City rather than watching his new team mates against Coventry City.

Rumours circulation suggest that Andy Butler and Nigel Clough had a disagreement on the training ground this week and that Butler was asked to find a new club - all alleged rumours I might add.

Sheffield United fans took to Twitter and fans forums to express their anger towards Butler for returning to his old work place and not supporting his current team mates.

Butler was approached by both Bradford City and Scunthorpe during the summer so maybe it was the Bantams, Butler was watching on Saturday?

Either way, the continued problems arise from former Saddlers who join Sheffield United.
